Ferrara Balloons Festival is the most important balloon festival in Italy and one of the most prestigious in Europe.

In 2017, over 90,000 visitors were able to enjoy the show offered by the “air giants” and the many activities planned at the G.Bassani urban park in Ferrara.

Established thirteen years ago by the Province and Municipality of Ferrara, it is an entertainment event that includes aerostic, sporting, cultural and entertainment events, meetings and entertainment a stone’s throw from the historic center of Ferrara, a jewel of the Renaissance and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The strategy pursued from the beginning has been to activate important partnerships with private subjects and to involve the local entrepreneurial fabric, widening the participation in all the Ferrara associations, cultural and sporting realities. It is thanks to these collaborations that the Festival has grown year by year, acquiring at the same time an international dimension and a strong local identification.
