Journalists and authors from all over the world arrive in Ferrara for a series of free conferences and meetings. Information and current affairs, economics and literature, comics and photography: 240 guests, 31 countries, 60 newspapers and 120 meetings. To know the world and try to understand it.
From October 4th to 6th, the thirteenth edition of “Internazionale a Ferrara” will be held, one of the most significant initiatives on the Italian cultural scene. The intent of the festival is to recreate an entire issue of Internazionale live, with the presence of journalists, writers and editors collaborating with the weekly.
Organized by the Municipality of Ferrara, the Province of Ferrara, the University of Ferrara, Internazionale and Arci Ferrara, together with the Emilia-Romagna Region, the Teatro Comunale di Ferrara Foundation and the IF Association, the festival reflects the editorial line of the magazine that publishes every week the major names of journalism and international culture. Roberto Saviano, Amira Hass, Arundhati Roy, Marjane Satrapi, Noam Chomsky, Lucia Annunziata, Gad Lerner, Daria Bignardi, Dana Priest, Hu Shuli are just some of the guests hosted over the years in Ferrara.
The event, hosted in the prestigious spaces of the historic center of Ferrara in respect of environmental sustainability and accessibility for all, deals with issues of great current interest and social, economic and political relevance, capable of arousing the interest and involvement of a more and more public.
